Note on urban mobility: Part of our "invisible skills' curriculum includes navigating local infrastructure and building transit confidence. After our market mission, the cohort will travel together via public transportation to our culinary site (a 12- minute transit). Students will learn how to get from point A to point B, read transit schedules, manage fare systems, and practice safe, group- based urban travel. This journey teaches students the logistics of city navigation- an essential skill for any rising middle or high schooler.
